I gave Morrigan the book to start the quest, my quest log says to go kill here and she is probably where she was when i meet her, but when i show up to her camp its empty. It begins with giving the gift book 'Flemeth's Grimoire' to Morrigan, which belonged to her mother, Flemeth, presumably filled with spells.
Then after a while Morrigan will talk to the hero you , and explain something she discovered in the book that disturbed her greatly, and eventully will ask you to kill Flemeth! It is recommended that you offer to accept her request, but you wouldn't really need to actually hurt Flemeth, you could instead hear her proposal and accept it.
